INDUCE Stalls

Both of our Save Betamax call-ins this week (which were extremely effective from everything we’ve heard) were timed to stop the Judiciary Committee from signing off on the INDUCE Act at today’s (Thursday) meeting. Of course, the big guns in the electronics industry were also out in force trying to head this off. All together, the opposition is really building a head of steam, and the bill failed to make it through the Committee today, which is a big victory and a sign that things may be finally swinging against the RIAA.
